Ach ty předložky!!!
Dneska si podáte předložky a předložkové vazby.
Tahle gramatika vlastně přesahuje do slovní zásoby, protože občas jde spíš o fráze. Prostě někdy v tom není ani špetka logiky. A jak se to tedy máte naučit? No, klasicky procvičováním, procvičováním a v neposlední řadě také procvičováním.
Je také dobré si představit, jak bychom vnímali, kdyby cizinec, který mluví dost dobře česky, pletl předložky:
“Chtěl bych si rezervovat stůl na 4 lidi u 6 hodin. Můžeme zaparkovat venku restauraci?”
To není tak zlé, ne? Cizince bychom za takový výkon v češtině velmi pochválili. Tak proč máme na sebe v cizím jazyce vyšší nároky? 😉
Rozcvičte se a pak vlítněte na ostatní lekce:

I feel myself like an outsider:(
Noooo, Pepo, don’t. Think of learning this grammar only as a mental gymnastics. You can speak really well even without a perfect command of this grammar. And don’t forget to return repeatedly to this lesson and slowly but surely you will tame these tiny wild beasts. 😀
I must say I use preposition, that is “feeling” right. I’ll try to remember some of these rules.
Yes, Petr, in speaking you should go by your instinct. During studying you should always try to take a step forward and learn one or two new things.
I like learning prepositions. It is fun. But level for beginner! 😀
That is great that you enjoy this topic, Lada.
For me are prepositions problematic. I must to practice them or read a books a lot.
You must do both, Anežka. You will learn a lot of language by reading, especially if you actively notice the sentence structure from time to time. Practising prepositions in an exercise give you a good base, though.
Uffff! I could exercise this every day… and propably each day with different, strange result.:)))
Yes, Markéta, because our brain needs a lot of trial/error practice to create a template for automatic use.
Prepositions are a problem for me at long time:)
They are a problem for everyone in any language, Honza. So, no worries.
I known important prepositions and common prases, which I use every day. And when I have english lesson with my teacher and she give me same sentence to translate,.. I use preposition – Depending on how I feel it :-)))
Yes, Lucie, in conversation you should use prepositions intuitivelly, but if you want to improve you need to learn new ones. Not all of them but, for example, 5 a week.
I must exercise it, it is difficult and some words are new for me. The prepositional phrases make no sense. 🙁
Yes, they don’t make sense the same way as Czech prepositions make no sense to foreigners. So you must practise more and bit by bit, you will learn it.
Prepositions for intermediate was perfect, but prepositions for intermediate and advanced was horible?.
Would it be possible to print a spreadsheet? For helping in future???
Yes, prepositional phrases are the worst.
The table will be later on available in a PDF format and you can use the credits you earn to buy and download them.
I enjoyed the prepositions for the intermediate 🙂 But then I tried prepositions for intermediate and it was a disaster :-/
Yes, prepositions are difficult but as I have written in the instructions: it is OK to make mistakes. And none of the lessons here are tests of your ability but a learning progress so I bet you have learned a couple of them today.
I am not good at prepositions. I must prepare for the exercises.
I think prepositions are difficult in every foreign language and it just needs constant practice.
Yesterday it was worse 🙂
Exactly!!!
I’m definitely not keen on prepositions ?
Well, no one is 😉 It needs a looooooot of practice.
The prepositional phrases are difficult for me. It took me a long time 🙂
You shouldn’t spend on the tasks much longer than 20 (max 30 😉 ) minutes. It is better to go back to them periodically. This “course” will be available for 2 weeks in total, so go back to them for 10 minutes every day rather than working on them for a long time 🙂
Phrases with prepositions do not have much logic and that is a problem for me.
Prepositions are a problem for everyone in every language. And exactly, Pepo, they nave NO logic whatsoever.
This grammar is also very difficult for me 🙁
I must learn, learn and learn … 🙂
Yes, often but constantly 🙂
Prepositions are definitely one the most difficult part of English grammar for me 🙂
I have to agree with you ….
And I agree, too. But not only in English, right? They just need a lot of practice.
