Grammar: Revision of Tenses
Today you will review the tenses that you should be familiar with.
- To activate what you already know, do the exercises first. This will create the best learning environment for your memory systems.
- Watch the explanatory video for any of the tenses if you are feeling lost. You can access them by clicking on the name of the tense in the table below.
- Do the exercises again to reinforce the memory tracks you have created.

Exercise 1
Exercise 1: Revision of all the tenses.
Complete the sentences by filling in the correct form of the words in brackets.
Example: She is making or ‘s making dinner for her family right now.
- I do (do) a lot of filing at work every day.
- She is travelling ’s travelling (travel) to Spain at the moment. She rests (rest) on the beach every summer.
- It was her birthday last week. They had (have) a party last Saturday.
